The Parole Officer

This witty comedy tells the story a well-meaning but naive probation officer, Simon Garden (Steve Coogan), who witnesses a murder and then is framed for it by a corrupt cop.

The evidence he needs to clear his name is kept in a bank vault. Simon quickly enlists three former criminals to help him "steal" it back, and before they know it, they're once again involved in a life of crime.

The Scorpion King

Taken from the name of a legendary Egyptian warrior, "The Scorpion King" is a spin-off from the film "The Mummy Returns." WWF enigma The Rock plays a warrior named Mathayus, who tries to save the inhabitants of ancient Gomorrah from extinction at the hands of their king.

To do this, he captures the king's seductive sorceress (Kelly Hu), who provides the king with visions to help destroy the people of Gomorrah. Mathayus gathers his dwindling men and plots to spare the sorceress while destroying the king, leading to a showdown.

Esta comedia se trata de un inocente pero bien intencionado oficial Simon Garden (Steve Coogan). Simon ha tenido la mala suerte de ser testigo de un asesinato y de ser culpado del mismo por un malicioso oficial.

La evidencia que el primero necesita para salir exhonerado se encuentra en la bóveda de un banco y por lo tanto, necesita pensar en cómo "robar" dicha información para limpiar su nombre. Simón pronto involucra a tres antigüos delincuentes a quienes él mismo ayudó a dejar la vida turbulenta que llevaban y antes de darse cuenta, ya estaban metidos nuevamente en una situación delictiva por ayudarle a Simón a probar su inocencia.

Basado en el nombre de un guerrero egipcio, "The Scorpion King" es una SPIN-OFF de la película "The Mummy" y se desarrolla 300 años A.C. El enigma de las luchas "The Rock" da vida a un asesino llamado Mathayus, quien salva de la extinsión a los habitantes de la antigua Gomorra.

Para poder hacerlo, tiene que capturar a la malvada y seductora hechicera (Kelly Hu), quien le da al rey las visiones para que ayude a destruir a los habitantes de Gomorra.

La historia se desarrolla cuando Mathayus reúne a sus hombres y piensa en cómo distraer a la bella hechicera y al mismo tiempo conquistar al insidioso rey.
